10 Communities. 7 Days. One Awesome Video: How We Made A Sunny Westminster Christmas
In December, we released our new video featuring residents and employees from around the state showing how we celebrate the holiday season in Florida, dancing and singing in the beautiful sunshine to holiday classics. We call it 'A Sunny Westminster Christmas.' It makes for a fun contrast to the cold, snowy winters the songs are supposed to bring to mind. Social media manager Cal Reaves and I traveled the state filming these scenes. And we did it all in seven days in December! # Sunday, February 4, 2018
Westminster Sings "Hallelujah"
Earlier this year, our creative team wrapped up production for "Westminster Communities of Florida Sings Hallelujah." We traveled across the state to all nine active living communities to film residents and employees singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." This was such a wonderful project — we had a lot of fun on the way, and the final product will give you the chills — but we learned a lot along the way. If you want to embark on a project like this, here's what you should know. # Friday, August 4, 2017
Work Smarter, Not Harder
I'm delighted to say that, in the last fiscal year, we generated 14% more leads than in the previous year. Most of that increase is from the categories where we can have the most impact (advertising, direct mail and digital strategies). But we strive to do even better! As the creative team leader, my main focus is on how I can make our marketing and sales efforts more efficient and more successful for everyone. The best way to do that is to work smarter, not harder. # Tuesday, May 23, 2017
11 Do's and Don'ts of Photo Shoots
My team at Westminster Communities of Florida has done nearly seven weeks of photo and video shoots in the time that I’ve been here, so we’ve done a lot of good work — and made a lot of mistakes! We have a saying, “Only make new mistakes,” so I say, learn from mine and make a few of your own along the way. Here’s my 11 do’s and don’ts for photo shoots. # Thursday, April 20, 2017
